Chief Operating Officer

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for managing daily operations and ensuring internal systems support organizational growth and efficiency. This position leads internal coordination, staff performance, and operational strategy under the leadership of the CEO.

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Director of Fractional Services (PT)

The Part-Time CFO / Director of Fractional Services serves as CAVALRY's senior financial leader in a strategic 20-hour per week capacity, leveraging efficient systems, automation, and streamlined processes to ensure financial health while building and managing our external Fractional Services division. This role requires someone who can work independently and efficiently, managing both internal financial operations and launching a revenue-generating fractional CFO and accounting services practice for nonprofit and mission-driven clients. Success in this position depends on strong systems thinking, process optimization, and the ability to maximize impact within a part-time schedule.

Vice President of Student Programs and Success

The Vice President of Student Programs and Success provides strategic leadership across the complete student and employer lifecycle at CAVALRY, from initial recruitment through successful career placement. This executive role owns student recruitment, enrollment, persistence, completion, and placement while simultaneously building and managing the employer pipeline that creates apprenticeship and career opportunities. The position is responsible for establishing employer trust, validating Phase I benchmarks, and ensuring seamless integration between student development and workforce placement. This leader drives both student success outcomes and employer partnership growth, creating a sustainable ecosystem that connects talent with opportunity.

Director of Degree-Based Apprenticeship Programs

The Director of Degree-Based Apprenticeship Programs is responsible for designing and implementing academic pathways that integrate apprenticeship training with college credit. This role collaborates with higher education institutions to ensure alignment with academic and workforce standards.

Director of Secondary Education Programs

The Director of Secondary Education Programs is responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of CAVALRY’s secondary-level program, Generation E: The Effective Generation, including middle school and high school pre-apprenticeship initiatives. This role ensures that students gain early exposure to career pathways, industry-recognized credentials, and work-based learning experiences that prepare them for successful transitions into postsecondary education and apprenticeship opportunities.

Apprentice Success Coach

The Apprentice Success Coach serves as the primary advocate and support coordinator for apprentices throughout their journey at CAVALRY, ensuring they persist through challenges, achieve educational milestones, and successfully complete their apprenticeship programs. This role combines proactive coaching, crisis intervention, resource navigation, and strategic problem-solving to remove barriers and keep apprentices on track toward certification and career goals. The Apprentice Success Coach maintains regular contact with their caseload, monitors early warning indicators, responds to critical needs, and collaborates with employers and internal teams to create a comprehensive support network around each apprentice.
