Kindness Challenge

Gather a team of family/friends of 3+ to participate in completing any of the following kindness challenges in honor of MLK Day of Service!

2. SELECT TEAM CHALLENGE

Kindness Card Challenge

Teams will perform at least 3 kindness challenges that will benefit and positively impact the community. The challenges will be acts of kindness for friends, family, school workers, first responders, etc. For every 3 challenges completed, participants will earn kindness dollars that become valuable donations towards a cause or organization of their choice! Please choose from the list below.

Bag Challenge

Teams will receive a bag or kindness kit with all of the materials and instructions to complete this kindness challenge.

Jared Box Challenge

FAMILY/FRIENDS

Help your parent/guardian with a chore at home
Write a note of appreciation for a family member or friend
Call or text a family member with a positive encouraging message
Buy food or cook/bake something for a family member or friend
Place inspirational sticky notes somewhere for a family member or friend to see
Read a book to a family member or friend

COMMUNITY

Purchase 3 items from the Jared Box list
Make one-of-a-kind card using markers, stickers, or pencils and write a friendly message inside!
Donate at least 2 cans of food
Do a PSA for a cause you care about.
Donate a t-shirt for a t-shirt bag
Perform your own act of kindness

SCHOOL

Write a kind and encouraging email to your teacher.
Make and decorate a card with an encouraging message and mail out to a teacher or classmate.
Send a picture of a cute animal to a classmate or teacher
